Lost and reset password

I lost my password. What should I do?

Burrito Wallet needs a password in the following circumstances
  • If you forgot your password after changing your device
  • In some cases, you may not remember the password you use for settings.
Please proceed with the password change procedure in the order below, according to the applicable case.
  1. If you forgot your password after changing your device
      • Please click "Find Burrito Account Password" at the bottom of the login.
      • Authentication with a phone number ->Enter your Burrito ID and registered mobile phone number.
      • Email confirmation ->Enter your Burrito ID and your registered email
        • If you did not register your e-mail at the time of sign-up, you cannot reset it through e-mail authentication)
      • After authentication, enter a new password by resetting the password.
  1. If you forgot the password for changing in the settings
      • Under the password field, "Forgot your password?" Choose a password
      • Please proceed with the reset procedure.
        • You must go through the user verification process to reset your password.
      • For phone number authentication, enter your registered mobile phone number, ID, and email address.
      • Please enter a new password.
        • If you do not remember your Burrito ID: you can find it through email verification.
        • If you have not checked your e-mail authentication: your ID cannot be found through e-mail authentication. In this case, please use the service by creating a new account.

You can set the top of the Burrito Wallet main app (⚙️)
  1. Profile Management
  1. Reset Password.
There is a difference between the case where the Burrito app is logged in and the case where the app is not logged in. Please proceed accordingly.
  • If you are logged in to the app
  1. Settings (⚙️) at the top of the Burrito Wallet app
  1. Profile Management
  1. Select the Change Password button
  1. Enter your previous password
  1. Enter your new password and re-enter it to confirm the change.
  • If you are not logged in to the app
    • Please change your password on the login screen using ID + phone number or ID + email authentication.
Do you notice that your email is not connected to the account information screen?
In that case, please complete the email verification. If you have email address verification, you may retrieve your password via email authentication using the registered email address. Only your phone number can be used for authentication if you haven't registered your email address.
